He had a heck of season.

When it counted most, he was able to do what he’s been doing at most every derby he was in –  keep his head down, stay focused, catch the heck out of them.

It was fun to watch.

Someone spotted Hank Cherry giving away rods to kids right out of his locker today after the tournament..

That's pretty cool to see him putting those kids in his boat, giving some of his rods away, and taking time to just talk with them.

Palaniuk has impressed me since he first started in Elite competition and I suspected we would see big things from him. Congratulations to him on a most excellent year!

I went to the weigh in on Friday afternoon and got up close and personal with some rigs after they pulled up.  Skeet's truck is ridiculous.  Its like a small bus.
