I've had a lot of success using Lake Fork's Live Magic shad 3.5 as trailer for a spinnerbait.

I like the Powerbait Chigger Craw as a swimjig trailer.

Here in Michigan, a local company called kustom kicker jigs makes an amazing swim jig called the Deposit Swim Jig.  Ive had a lot of success with that as well.

This year I've caught an absolute ton of smallmouth and some nice largemouth on the larger kvd jerkbaits in a variety of colours. Their action seems to be just the ticket for snarly brown bass here. For plastics, my go to for flipping/pitching in the weeds and docks/trees the last couple of years has been the Berkeley power thief in several colours. The northern largies here seem to hammer it.

I figured you wanted a shopping list and this is a solid one that needs a few more to be complete but a great start.
