Hello from Iowa! 2.0

Featured Replies

Well I accidentally deleted my last introduction, so long story short. I used to be an avid fisher for 5 plus years, threw out all my equipment out last year, and now have been getting the itch to go back to fishing. I recently bought a ready to fish set up, however I didn't like the cheap feel to it. Luckily I was able to snag a good ol spinning reel combo (Quantum reel and a good light action rod) I gave to my Uncle a while back ago. I am starting from scratch and will be mindful of compulsive decisions.

I know that a few of you have already commented giving me advice, and I am sorry for not replying due to my negligence. To those that that welcomed me, thank you!

I did get frustrated from having no luck, and also commitments did get in the way. However since things have calmed down some since our baby is now 1 years of age I can focus on the good things in life like hunting and fishing.

Glad you climbed back on board.

I remember going to Iowa for a college conference when I was a s student volunteer for the LSU Mens' Residence Hall. We drove from Baton Rouge to Ames, Iowa, in an LSU car.

What I remember most was standing by a fence and looking eyeball to eyeball with a pig. Or a hog.

Biggest pig I have ever seen.

We had a good time, too, at Iowa State.

Welcome to Bass Resource !!!

Howdy and welcome to our fishing family! ?
