I’m getting antsy!

Featured Replies

Ugh! I’m getting so impatient for the weather to warm up! It’s been in the high 50’s for a few days now but it’s rained every day this week ?. It’s almost warm enough to get the fish moving and maybe the shallow bite will finally start up sometime next week. I’ll keep my fingers crossed though because I know how crazy this central Ohio weather can be

We had warm weather for awhile, now it's gone AWOL. Rain almost every day this week, struggling to get above 50, and now it's supposed to snow and barely make it above 40 on Sunday. It's been a steady cycle of the weather turning terrible every week on my days off.

Same here in the northeast. Still getting below freezing night time temps. This coming week suppose to be cold as well.

Same here unfortunately. I think I'm going to try to hit a local pond tomorrow afternoon to do some bank fishing as the weather is only calling for 20% chance of rain and air temps in the 60's. I have a new to me kayak and with all this rain I don't know if I'll ever get it out on the water.

try fly fishing. you might even like it better. streams/rivers rarely freeze solid, even here in the northeast.

trout, smallmouth bass, pike, carp, etc.

One of our local weathermen said yesterday was the 88th day of the tear. We have only 27 days so far this year that it didn't rain or snow. Today makes 89 and it is raining.

Warm and sunny down here. Today it was 83 degrees. The fish pulled up on beds Friday.

Today is the first day in over a week that we have had sun.  Air temps have been in the mid to high 40s, and it has rained every day.  I have been catching one or two bass each trip on lipless baits fished around submerged vegetation.

Been antsy for a couple months now.

Tomorrow will be my first trip this year, all pumped up!

Weather says Mostly sunny, high around 49* for my area.
