How did the trick sticks compare in catch rate to the other stick baits?

That's about the only thing you can change in a senko?

As for catch rate & the waters I fish

Trick Stick spinach & Tiki Stick black/ blue tip are my goto

I passed on the Trick Sticks for a few reasons : 1 ) Not much movement on the fall   2) The egg sack on the Trick Stick is kind of funky   3 ) The colors offered via my local Academy didn't do much for me ... I prefer Senkos , SK Ochos and Yum Dingers in stick baits .

I don't like the egg sack, they sink very slowly, little to no action on the sink. One of the few BBB that I'm not a fan of.

I have used them, and caught fish on them. But Yum Dingers are my go-to affordable senko substitute stick bait.

When I'm throwing a Trick Stick it's Texas Rigged weightless on a 4/0 EWG.

The egg sack is a non issue & a slow horizontal fall is what I want.

I can't say enough about the Trick Stick. I have junebug, watermelon candy and spinach. The spinach is an interesting color and my bass locally love it. I fish them T-Rigged weightless on a 3/0 EWG and the slow, horizontal fall is what gets it hit, in my opinion. I also have Dingers, but have far more confidence in the Trick Stick.

I bought these in dark blue flake and have done pretty well. Academy carries these. I like them weightless,  casting to shallow targets. Go for the S-L-O-W fall.
