Same thing happened to me.  The 15% discount on the auction site brought it done to like $58.20, and I just couldn’t resist.

This is off tangent, but I’m so glad BassResource allows freedom of speech still, even to this day in the spirit of being American despite the KastKing BS. I respect the hustle. 

 

With that said, the Daiwa Fuego is unbeatable.

I run 7:1 except for my flipping rod, and I throw moving baits on it anyway most of the time. That ones in 8:1 and it churns in chatterbaits just fine. If I want to slow roll with either one I just slow down. I'm sure I would feel differently if I had a boat but since I can only fit 4 rods on my kayak I make do!

 

 

That silly pmemday code just cost me money too. I sprang for the tatula for $76 bucks to replace my 6 month old casitas ?

Seems kinda silly to only buy one! Might as well get 3 or 7 more...........

I just got my 6.3:1 in the mail today.  I threw some line on it and chucked a casting plug down the street for a few minutes.  If I get two seasons out of this real, I will have gotten more than my $58.20 worth.  I am really happy with the buy.

The fact that the Memorial Day code expired before Memorial Day probably saved me another $58.20. It might have even saved me the price of a Tatula CT. Hehe.

I feel the pain bro. I could very easily replace ONE more reel. Then they will all be new daiwas. The sale ending early probably saved my marriage

The sale is back! P15home is the new code, home and sporting goods. The downside is it only applies to a single order of $75 or more. So we can use it to get cheap tatulas but not so much on fuegos.

 I should also add that unless I misread the details of the promotion, you can use the code for multiple items in the same order. What I mean by that is you can probably still pick up a $58 Fuego as long as you throw in a couple extra dollars worth of line or lures or whatever to hit the $75 mark before the discount.

 

Hope that helps some of you get into new gear!
