"Eight Trap Method"

Certainly catching big bass on big swimbaits is not new.

However, this approach is something that I've not seen before.

Sort of looks like 'figure 8-ing' a muskie . . .

Check it out

I was very disappointed to discover this video did not feature an A-rig with 8 lipless crankbaits...

The interesting thing in that video is that after the bass would miss the hooks, it came back for the lure.

Nope, Never seen that before.

I guess if thier locked on an area, blocked in on one side, and aggressive when you're there....

Whatever it takes.

I've seen other videos of guys in Japan doing that. What blows my mind is that we always here about all these finesse techniques coming out of Japan to catch these "super finicky fish"...yet somehow this crazy technqiue works lol.

Not really getting the trap part of it. Shoulda been called Figure Eight Swimbait Method...lol! ?

Neat technique. But that little orange boat is what I liked...

That's what I was hoping for.

Kind of reminds me of the figure 8 method that’s used for muskies.
