Dream Bass fishing trips

I plan to visit South America to fish for peacock bass, arapaima, payara, and other hard fighting exotic fish. Have caught smallmouth bass and many other species of black bass, they don't fight anywhere near what a equal sized South Florida peacock bass does so I am looking forward to catching a speckled peacock bass from the Amazon.

No bass here, so I'm happy travelling to the US, Canada and Spain to get my fix.

Number 1 = Lake Baccarac, Mexico

Number 2 = Bullards Bar, CA

California delta and any puddle Rick Clunn is fishing in. ?

@Catt you're not that far from Pickwick.  It's a great SM lake.

TVA lakes are on my bucket list, the question was 2 lakes, I can't pick 2 TVA lakes.

Lake Chickamauga, Lake Guntersville, California Delta, Lake Fork and Toledo Bend. Those are my dreams.

You are very fortunate that you have visited most of your bucket list places to fish, I have only begun my travels and have a long list of places to visit.I plan on fishing each continent ( excluding Artarctica) for fish I have only seen in pictures and videos. Me and my better half both have good professions so money is not a issue and I will gladly spend thousands of dollars to catch the fish on my life bucket list.

I already listed the lakes Id love to fish, but I also wouldn't mind fishing the Amazon.  Probably will never happen, but I like the though.  I think it would be fun

I consider myself lucky to get to fish Guntersville, Dale Hollow and Chickamauga a couple times each year and, man, are they awesome. Guntersville is hands down my favorite and I’ve never had an “unsuccessful” trip down there. My PB in my pic came on a topwater plug on Guntersville. 8-1.  Dale and Chick are a close 2nd, As good as anywhere when they are on but as tough as anywhere when they are off. Dale has some giant bass and Walleye too. My two bucket list waters would be the Upper Mississippi around La Crosse, WI and Sam rayburn. I’d love to hit Texas in the late winter/ early spring and froggin for a boat full of 2-3 pound bass on the Mississippi just sounds awesome!

After reading yesterday's bag weights I'm gonna have to take a trip to the saint lawrence river!

Yeah man, that place just looks amazing. It’s supposed to have some great Largemouth fishing to go with the smallies too.
