Suffix 832 Coastal Camo

I have used and liked 832 in the past and since I will have 3 new baitcasters in a couple of months, was curious if the Coastal Camo color would be good for bass fishing. I fish both green water and water you can see your lure bottom in 10 to 13 feet. Color looks cool but my gut says stick with the standard green.

being braid, isn't it going to fade anyway?

Probably, and since I use a leader for jigs visibility should not be much of a concern. Thought I would try something different to see if it would be easier to watch my line with this stuff. The last year or so my eyes got old, no reading glasses yet, but not too far off.

I use it on one of my spinning spools simply to indicate it's my 8 lb. Fades to near white which actually helps me with visibility.

I like the color of it for topwater. Blue should blend into the sky better than the dark green (in theory).

For line in general I usually just stick with green/dark green or white. Would'nt hurt to try camo though, never hurts to try something new and see how you like it

Try some Hi-Vis lines.  Orange (Tangerine) is good.

Back when mono was king I love XT solar, even had good success in gin clear waters.

From what I saw 832 is only available in blue or green.

Take that back they have yellow too and lime.

In a similar situation myself.  Got a new outfit coming and wanting to go with braid on it.  I've narrowed the brands down to Sufix 832 and Power Pro Slick 8, but I can't decide on the color.

I love XT Solar!  Still have a few spools in fact.  They are kept cool and out of the light in an old freezer with my other line and break strength is still on the money.  Also have a couple spools of Trilene Inshore.  Fantastic line!!  Can't figure out why Berkley quit with it.  Gonna be a sad day when they're gone!

I have the Sufix 832 camo on several of my reels. It all faded to white within 1-2 outings.
