90s/early 2000 fisherman soft plastic identification

Featured Replies

Hi I’m a new member of the forum but have been following for awhile. I have some ribbon tail worms given to me by my dad several years ago that I’m trying to figure out the brand or at least a company that makes the same color combination, closest I’ve came is culprit.  The package fell apart many years ago but I seem to remember gorilla being in the name somewhere but this may be completely wrong so don’t read to much into that.  I know it’s a long shot but any help will be appreciated

Zoom 'Ol Monsters maybe?

No they look very much like culprits I’d upload a picture but is telling me the file is too big, any way around this?  It is a dark green on top and light green on bottom with black flakes.

No that is not it, was just able to attach a picture to my original post

I'm saying Culprit.

Looks like a Culprit to me but other companies have made similar worms.

Thanks everyone for the replies, and yes I think it was a culprit knockoff.  I just really love the color.

The shape looks like a Spike it, but the color is not one I can find.

That looks like an old Berkley Power bait worm and the color is discontinued. The best bet is to find a custom soft plastic lure maker and have them match the color.

Berkley worms didn't have a smooth bottom.

I can assure you that is a Zetabait Gillraker worm. I used them for years until they went out of business.

Thanks for the help, I think I remember reading somewhere that somebody else is making the gill raker worms now?  Also if anybody happens to run across a company that offers this color please let me know!
