What Brand/Name is this Crankbait??

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what kind of crankbait this is? Such as brand name and model? I have found it in my grandparents garage so I assume it is vintage.? It kind of resembles the style of a wiggle wart but I know it is not a wiggle wart. It also has a deep knocking sound inside of it. Thanks, I am just curious to know what exactly it is so if anyone knows just let me know!

Do you happen to know a model name?

Ahh, boring night on graveyard shift...

I been digging some more, I'm about 99% sure it's a Cotton Cordell Wiggle-O

Cordell wiggle o

and an old one at that.....

That's an odd one. I don't know what it is, but it does not look like a Wiggle O to me.

It looks balsa, not plastic. Can you tell what material its made of?

I think it is to long to be a Cordell wiggle o.  I had a strike king Crankbait that looked exactly like this one back in the late seventies. I forget the name. Didn't catch many fish on it, and remember it was discontinued after a couple of years.  Could be wrong, its been a long time.

I’m going to say plastic but not 100% on that. but with it having a rattle i’m pretty sure it’s plastic. It has a one knocker deep sound to it. I don’t think it is a wiggle o because of the bill location on the body and the body shape. It has pretty distinctive eyes that are cut in and dimple styled similar to a wiggle o but the body is different. It is weird though I have searched the internet forever looking to find something like it and cannot.

So does the Rapala DT, and it's balsa. It's not as common, but you can put a knocker/rattle in a balsa bait.

I thought that resembled an old strike king bait . Google Syrike king Psycho Scout .
