Spotted or Largemouth?

Featured Replies

Hello forum, last March caught this nice bass in an acre size pond in Colorado. Numerous people stated it’s a Spotted Bass, not a Largemouth.  Weighed in at 4.14 pounds, which if it is a Spot is a trophy for us here in Colorado. So is this a Spotted or Largemouth?? Thanks in advance!

The fools on Fishbrain told him so...

For those that don’t know, it’s an app. Free or pay to play it’s like Facebook for fishing with perks if you pay.

I had a feeling it was a Largemouth, just wanted to double check.

Nothing about that fish says spotted bass.

I once posted a smallmouth to Facebook and someone said, "wow, that's a big rock bass."

People are ridiculous.
