I wish Z-Man made a grub like with their super durable TRD material. I'm currently throwing Kalin's Lunker Grub in 4" for smallmouth and I like them and the colors I use but they are pretty soft and get tore up easy. Really frustrating when you put a new one on and the dang bluegill nip the tail off!

 

Any suggestions?

Z-man does make an elaztech grub called Z-man Grubz. Tackle Warehouse has them. 

I haven't used the Z-man, but it's probably the ticket.  If not, Big Bites makes a grub that's no more durable than Zoom or Kalin, but it comes in 25 packs that'll give back change from a $5 bill.

Rage Tail grubs are pretty tough.

Zman actually makes a few different sizes and versions of a grub. I have several bags, they're very durable just like the rest of their baits.
