Huddleston Baits

Featured Replies

I've been waiting for months (~6 mo.) for back-ordered Huddleston Grass Minnows.  Recently noticed that lots of other Hud baits are not available either.  Anyone know what is going on at Huddleston?

Tacklewarehouse say's they'll have them instock late June.

They're known for being really slow to put baits out

Ken Huddleston is a small company with a well known name and it takes time to make hand made lures. When Black Dog decided to go off shore to expand thier business the quality dropped along with their reputation.

Huddleston Delux is a limited production company worth waiting for.

I guess the only thing to do is just wait.  I'm considering increasing item quantities to insure I will have enough thru end of season.

You'll probably get your grass minnows right after all the topwaters people pre-ordered ship out ?

You mean no one has gotten their Hudd Walkers yet? Hahahaha. I can't stand Ken or how he runs things. Again, never buy a backordered bait. This is what happens. Also, never buy from them directly. There is somewhere they are currently available.

It's pretty sad really, I regret ever buying any of his stuff

The only bait of his that I LOVE is the Huddgill. It's really a killer bait for weed flats and flipping.

I'd bought a couple from the original batch that swam on their side, Hudd said they'd replace them with good ones, they didn't lol

Wasn't it the ROF 5 gills that swam sideways? The 12s I've had are great.
