Is it best to go with highest rated HP just to have it? Id like to fish bigger bodies of water Table Rock for instance. I could get away with smaller for the local tournaments I run.

 

Anybody run any of these specific models? Anything you would change after utilizing for some time?

 

This decision is more stressful than picking out a baby name!!

I like the Lund layout best, but the ranger or xpress would be faster. 

Yes, it is best to max out the hp imo. Overall better performance and resale are two good reasons.

I had an Xpress, and I wish I never sold it.  I think your two best choices are Xpress or Lund.

Take a look at all of them and take a seat behind the helm. If your tall, the Ranger may not be very comfortable.

When faced with big waters & adverse conditions you need to have enough horsepower to lift the bow quickly. 

 

I chose a boat on how it performs in adverse conditions, they all handle great in calm water.

Never heard of anyone saying they had 2 mush HP, but definitely look at any weight difference and $$$$$'s.  The the lund would get my vote as I like the layout and have a solid dealer network
