What is your preferred trailers for the following. Any particular brand,type or color. I mainly use 1/4 or 3/8 oz in black/blue and white/yellow(chartreuse)

Chatterbaits

 

Spinner Baits

Swim jig- keitech fat swing, eco pro or bass pro/rage swimmer. All similar

 

chatterbait- lake fork live magic shad

 

spinnerbait- any split tail

Swim Jig- Rage Menace and Rage Swimmer

 

Chatterbait- LF Live Magic Shad

 

Spinnerbait- Rage Menace

 

Color depends on water clarity and conditions.

Swim Jig............Keitech Swimg Impact Fat 3.8 or 4.8

 

Chatterbait   Same as above but 99% of the time it's the 3.8

 

Spinnerbait Same as above but sometimes a KVD Blade Minnow 

Swim Jig...................paddle tail swimbait 3.5in.

Spinnerbait................Kalins Lunker Grub

Chatterbait......Never used one

I'm fishing them a lot again this season - hefty but I like them.

Swim Jig - Keitech Swing Impact Fat 4.3" or Craw style trailer (Rage Craw, Rage Menace)

 

Chatterbait - Gary Yamamoto Zako Swimbait

 

Spinnerbait - Zako or Keitech

I use Berkley Grass Pig Jr's a lot for all three applications.  I like Bama Bug, California, Gizzard Shad, and Watermelon w/black flake.

 

I occasionally use a Fluke or Super Fluke on a spinnerbait if I want less action and thump.

 

If I want a bigger look for a swim jig, I'll use a Zoom Swimmin Chunk.
