Took my kayak out today and found some topwater action. Went 4 for 10 but most were small. First frog action for me. This was my first and biggest fish at 15 inches. I was not prepped for froggin but luckily had one in my box.

You never forget your first frog catch.

Now I can justify having about 30 of them ready to go......And of course a new frog rod set up.

Idk about 30 frogs, but frogs are for sure one of those baits that really does require a pretty specific setup to be effective with them. Congrats on your first frog bass!

Congrats! Frog fishing is addictive and probably the single most fun way to catch a largemouth bass (IMO).
