i know you're gonna laugh when i tell you...

last night i duct taped my boat in an attempt to seal the leak.

i know, its the ghettoest thing ever!

i put tape all over the seam that goes down the middle. i dont know how long it will last, but im pretty confident it will keep me dry next time out.

;D

Plain silver duct tape?  If it doesn't work, try the black Gorilla tape.  Stickiest stuff I've ever seen.

;D

Actually Duct-tape is still way too sophisticated.

You should have sealed it with chewing-gum ... that would be more MacGyver-like  :D

Wish you the best of luck.

Don't forget your PFD  ;D

Drove an hour to the lake today. launched, and within 2 minutes realized I was taking on alot of water.  Found a 1/4X3/4 in puncture in bow.??  Would have given anything for that white duct tape.  Now that I think of it, I could have shoved a stick in there to get by today instead of pulling out.  I guess I need to think outside the box more!  Silly or not, it shows conviction.  :D

Couldn't resist.....  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Don't you know the saying???.....

If you can't duct it then F^&* it  8-)

Hehe my buddies and I once held a canoe together with a 1x2 and duct tape. Lasted flawlessly for a whole day.

Dave,

If the hole is not that big consider JB Weld in the inside and also on outside of the puncture.

A boating supply store may also have the strong material I used on my Tracker when I had to fill the holes after the rear cleat was torn off under a dock in rough water. Sorry, I dont know what it is called.

That material is extremely strong when it hardens and you will never have a leak again from that spot on your boat.

As for Mike from Ole Miss, "Go to Hell Ole Miss, Go to Hell."

You repeat that about six or seven times when LSU plays LSU in football.

Also remember, the most important play in Ole Miss football history and Eli falls on his ***. You got to love it.

Geax Tigers. :D

LSU education for you... ;D

Hey Dsaa,

If it makes you feel any better I use 2 5lb plastic dumbells tied together for one of my anchors!

I dubbed it as officialy my " ghetto " anchor   !!!
