Very cool, thanks for sharing.  That W&M is begging to be fished at least one more time.

 

 It's almost sad in a way to realize alot of these modern conglomerate owned companies like Wright & McGill, Pflueger, Penn, Heddon, Shakespeare, etc were once these iconic american made brands that came from little towns all over the country.

Pretty cool @slonezp. I've acually got one similar to your  w.m. thats been laying around in my basement for a dozen years or so since  it was given to me by a former co- worker.

Very nice! I love seeing (and fishing with) those old fishing rods. I get a kick out of catching fish on the same equipment that I had 50 years ago, and still like the feel of a fiberglass rod. Old reels are easy to find, but rods, being more fragile, are scarce.
