What an amazing rainy afternoon yesterday.  Son picked me up and we headed to Watts bar.  No one fishing on the lake.....sweet.  Although it was raining.....a lot.  My son and I started picking up some largemough and then some big whites.   Saw some stripers chasing and he mentioned how he would like to catch one and....wow....he did.  Bout a 15.  We were fishing a back bay and the afternoon just came together.  Rattle traps

It probably took me two hours to get four rods ready again...wow...hand eye coordination.....bad....heart good....spirit good.  Getting closer to heading north....probably first next week.   Spoooooky.....guess it goes with season.

:)

I’m glad you got out with your son. I haven’t gone with my son lately but hope to soon . His work schedule and mine don’t mesh at all at this point. Hopefully soon...

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers...

Not sure if taking computer to Duke so may be off here for awhile.  Phone is just to hard to see now and right side of head doesn't see things proper.  (this &*#!@ moves fast)  Heading up today....may try and hit a golf ball tomorrow before getting admitted to Hospital Monday.  Probably going through the motions but...all's good....it's outside breathing fresh air and not thinking as much.  Then after X number of days we hope to grab a fishing rod and jump in a boat for a bit....ahhhhhhh....goals right.

Catch one for me
