Looking to get a fishing kayak. Has anyone found any good sales for black Friday? I might get a used kayak but if I can find a good black Friday deal I would much rather get a new one. I'm liking the the feelfree lure...

I think ACK does a big sale just before Christmas. If you don’t find a deal now, I’d wait to check that out.

Yes! You'll want to check their inventory often between now and February as they try and move out the 2019 models. I've saved $300-$400 buying like this.

Depending on where you are (mainly in Virginia), Appomattox River Company usually has some pretty good sales and free shipping over the holidays.  Practically everyone is trying to sell off 2019 inventory too.

Jackson Kayak WAS running a pretty good sale on some of their now discontinued kayak models.  They had their 2019 Cuda HDs for $13xx.  

 

And from experience, avoid the Lure.  The big wide deck is attractive , but paddling that thing is no fun.  Especially if there is any wind or current.  

The lure is a great. I have a 13.5 with overdrive and it has performed great for me needs. If possible, check and see if you can find a local dealer so that you see it, touch it, and test it. If you have to end up settling for ACK then they have a great price on them now and probably for the foreseeable future. Feelfree has great customer service as well. One of the great things about the lure is that you can buy it as a paddle kayak and when you’re ready you can upgrade it to a pedal drive. 
 

The Other pedal drive to keep an eye on is the Old town topwater pdl (they have 10 and 12 footers)... Highly recommended 

I ordered the Old Town Topwater PDL 106 on Black Friday.  Only saved 10%, but better than nothing.  Should be here next week, fingers crossed.
