Floating craws

Featured Replies

What is your favorite craw that has claws that float?

Zman Turbo Crawz are hard to beat. Great colors, Okeechobee Craw and Molting Craw are my favorite. They give off an aggressive flap when swimmed on the back of a swim jig or chatterbait. And on a Texas Rig, the whole bait sorta stands up while dragging or hopping it.

I know Matt Allen loves the paca craw, but I've not had the chance to fish with it. In what presentation do you think it shines best?

Football jig trailer. Football heads were designed to be fished  around rocks. The original round elongated head with 90 degree hook eye allows the angler to work the jig putting a little line pressure that rolls the hook upwards lifting the trailer up without moving the jig foreward. This is a very slow cold water technique that triggers strikes, other head types slide foreward without rolling upwards.
