My First So. Florida Trip

I used Captain Shane Procell and was very pleased with his guiding skills and knowledge. I would highly recommend him. The first day I fished a canal near the Glades. I didn't catch any monsters, but I did lose two big ol' gals. I probably caught 50 that day walking the dog and flipping. Both produced good numbers. Second day was peacock day and we caught several 4-5 pounders. There's also a 7 pound bass from that day. All the pics are from that day due to the better size.

A good guide makes all the difference. You can't go wrong with this one. He went all out to make it a good experience.

It sure does!

Shane has been around here a long time. He should be on everyone’s short list.

Emphasis on the phrase "good guide". I can say from experience, a bad guide can ruin a trip just as much as a good guide can make it a great experience.

You did really well with Captain Shane. For you guys wanting to book Shane for a trip you need to plan in advance as he is often booked up for months in advance. He does have a couple of really good guide alternatives if your schedule wont work with his.

So its true his trips produce 50+ fish a day.  I can't wait to visit him one day.
