Nope. Check the schematic. Part # 40. Conventional pinion.

The P2 pinion is new for this year I believe.... the Pro TI came out last year

This is correct.

From the review itself: The Pro-Ti SLP features two bearings per knob, two bearings under the levelwind, but no secondary bearing on the frame for the pinion gear

I knew that as I checked my Pro TI when I purchased it for the P2 pinion. No idea when the new Pro TI's come out and if they will have this.

Still a fantastic reel. It can be found for $250 on sale from time to time.

Purchased this reel last fall.  Loaded it up with 10# mono put it on my Shimano Expride 6'10 jerk bait rod  took it down to the lake and thew a light crank bait into the teeth of a 15mph wind and could not get it to overrun even with the side brake adjustment backed all the way off.  Amazing reel, will be buying more for sure.

i love winn grips on reels, but i just cant get used to the barrel shaped handle knobs. i need flatish ones lol

Lew’s makes Winn Grip paddle knobs. You can swap them out.

At least they stayed with the 6 pin 27 position deal.

I'm too cheap to pay that much for a reel. :smile11:
