I know for a fact, there is few 7lb plus large mouth (was caught by couple anglers) is in Hansen Dam lake park, very clear water small park lake with lots of limited hot spots(docks and brushes are off limit).

I am visiting daily there for few hours and so far no success, just cached few 1 or 2lb. let me know if you are intrested to join for hunting this BEASTs.

I bet, gotta love the homeless setting up their tweeker camps along the riverbeds. They ruin it nearly everywhere.

Gangs not the homeless are the problem.

In the 50's Livingston Rick & Gravel company had a quarry a few miles east of Hansen Dam and as kids we fished the private quarry lakes that has phenomial bass fishing. I have no idea if those abandon ponds/lakes are still there? The largest was located near along side Wentworth at the west end of the complex about 1 mile from the Hansen Dam and small lakes open to the public. We water skied on Hansen Dam lake back in 50's, fishing was poor in the Hansen lakes mostly catfish with a few bass.

You might want to do a satilite search to see if any of the old Livingston ponds are still there.

PS, I looked at a sat map and nearly everything is gone except 2 ponds designated Tujunga Wildlife area, everything is either gone back to being the Tujunga wash or Gibson Horse Ranch....sorry!
