Good morning need to pick some brains

I have 2 Daiwa BG spinning reels, a 2500 and a 3000.

I have 15lb test on the 2500 paired with a med/fast rod

What would you guys recommend for my 3000? Should I just stay with the same or move up alittle?

The 3000 will be paired with a Med/Heavy rod.

Yes, 15lb will be perfectly fine.

What are you fishing on the MH rod? For me, that would dictate what lb braid I would put on the BG3000.

All of mine are 10-15..... No need for more

IF I was going to put braid on a 3000/MH spinning rig - 12#-15#...no need for more.

When are you going to come to DC and fish for northern snakeheads with me! I use 40lb braid for the slop they live in with some of my "finesse" spinning gear presentations.

I, too, am a fan of 10# and 15# braid on my reels.

I always use a leader, as well. Helps the braid mainline

last longer. Just how I roll.

I use 15# PP on my Tat LT 3000 on a MF rod and 30# J-Braid on my BG 2500 on a MH rod. Zero issues with line management with the BG and this heavier line, and I can fish tougher spots without worry. Casting distance is still really good too.
