New Hook Removal Tool

Featured Replies

I was watching MLF Live and the commenters referred to a new Hook Removal Tool that Shaw Grigsby was using yesterday.  They said it was really slick and had never seen one like it before, did not know the name.  Does anyone know about it?

If that is the one shaw was talking about, those have been around since at least the 70's.They came in 2 sizes and in stainless or galvanized steel. (as far as I know)

That certainly is NOT a new tool. The one in my tackle box is over 30 years old which replaced the same model that my father used and had rusted out. It was at least another 30 years old. I use it for getting deep hooks on pike and muskies.

That's not the one Grigsby is using.
