Sunline Defier vs Sunline Defier Armilo

What's the difference between these two pricey mono lines?  Do they have different characteristics?  Is one better for one application or another?  I have been curious about this for a little bit and decided it was time to ask.

I do have a spool of the Armilo that I am going to use for swimbaits.  But before I spool a reel up, I thought I would see what people had to say.

I use both. Have you used Suffix lines? I think Defier is like Elite, very long manageable casts and Armillo is like Siege very abrasion resistant.  I like the standard Defier better personally.

Defier is the lambo or nylon lines as far as manageability and casting goes. Armillo is like a chevy cavalier relative to defier.

Armillo has higher knot impact strength important for heavier lures, available in 25 lb test.

That's what I picked up.  Plan on using it on swimbaits.   We will see what happens.

Have you had good luck with it?  Does it hold up to the stress of heavy casting?

I like the 25 lb for all my Swimbait fishing and haven't had any issues the past 4 years using it with lures 2 to 7 oz. if they offered 30 lb I would that! In the lower lb test I can't see any noticeable difference between Armillo Deifer Nylon other then the Defier Nylon is supposed to be more water resistant similar to FC line.
