Glide bait action

Anyone have any action on a glide yet.  Started today because why not.  Had to let my ryoga stretch her legs.  Gave a 168 a spin around the pond, no takers yet.

I went out today with the intention of throwing a 186 but 10-15mph winds and a lot of standing timber changed my mind.

I think it’s time though, most all my bass for the last week have been on paddletails or jerkbaits fished fast, they are in the mood to chase a lure.

Back on January 23rd is when I caught my first and last glide bait fish this year. Had a giant blast it out of the water probably 5' but missed the hooks, of course  I stuck this one. I've seen some guys down on the Ozark lakes killing them already though.

Threw the S- Waver 168 and 200, 145 Slide Swimmer and Giganterel for 5 hours Sunday in 55 - 58.5 degree water Sunday. Couldn't even draw a follow, but we've had record precipitation and it's a bit stained up, on a typically clearish lake. Picked up the Ned and caught 7 in 2.5 hours in grass from 3' to 15' with big one being 4.91. Got to fish what they want and not what we want to catch them on.
