I called Shimano last week and the guy I spoke with said to send them in to be checked, but it was a 4-6 weeks turnaround. Trying to find a fix that I can do.

i removed the line and lubed where I could reach without complete disassembly.

Does it make any noise when you are reeling it under normal fishing conditions or just when reeling at Mach I? Still not sure what I am supposed to be hearing. I originally thought line, now I think it's in the handle simply from the violent nature of the reeling motion.

Maybe i cant hear it on that video.

On the latest video it just sounds like the normal clacking from in/out shaft play when your drag is tightened down and youre reeling in fast without a load.

My reel sounded similar last week (13 concept z).  I was fishing mucky water that had a film on top.  Gummed up my worm gear.  It would behoove you to keep a can of electric motor cleaner around for a quick clean and lube of the worm gear or any part without disassembly
