Keitech Swing Impact Fat Colors

Featured Replies

Alright, I'm finally gonna jump on the Keitech bandwagon. I'm looking for opinions on the best color to imitate golden shiners.

2 may be what you would consider. The Emerald Shiner, or the Arkansas shiner.

Gold flash minnow, copper field, and pro staff special are a couple to look out for also

Yeah I've seen these colors but I can't figure out which one has more flash. As you probably know, Florida bass don't like dull shiners

My personal favorite is Gold Flash Minnow, its a must for imitating shiners. I'd try out Houdini too, since it looks like a good color to imitate panfish as well.

That Gold Flash Minnow color looks the part. Copperfield is another color that guys down here swear by with the Gambler swimbaits. Decisions, decisions...

Tacklewarehouse has some special edition colors that are legit. But as for regular Keitechs:

Pro Blue Pearl

Crystal Shad

Sight Flash

silver flash minnow

If you want a brighter option sun gill could work too. It’s what I throw 95% of the time up here, but I’m also trying to imitate perch which are a little brighter than golden shiners but they are similar

Copperfield is a killer color for me, especially in the Gambler products. Houdini is a similar color swimbaits from Reaction Innovation and Bitters. Both Copperfield and Houdini are available in the Keitech swimbait line.

If you want some other Keitech colors (sight flash and black), I've got 3 packs sitting in the garage that you are welcome to have. I stopped carrying the Keitechs because of limited tackle space in the kayak and co-angler bag.

Ghost Rainbow Trout

I was actually looking at that color too. I found a bluegill washed up on the bank of a small lake I fish a lot and it had a dark back with light purplish/almost white sides. Not too long after, an anhinga popped up with a larger bluegill that had a light greenish back and the same light purplish/almost white sides.

Sounds like a good idea for some buzzbait trailers. I have a bunch of baits that I don't use and could trade after this corona virus stuff is over. PM me if interested.

buy em all

and send the ones ya don't use to me
