Thoughts? Im going to sit this one out. Love the rippin raps which i can fish like a blade bait. Also have a few blade baits. Dont need the fancy paint jobs or super detailed eyes on something yoyoing off the bottom drawing a reaction strike.

$10 bucks for a blade bait? I get 3 of my favorite blades for $10. I’ll be waiting for them to wind up in a bargain bin.

Rapala's prices are getting ridiculous. I know everything is getting more expensive but their prices seem to have skyrocketed.

Rapala website prices are usually a touch higher than store pricing, im assuming because they have so many discounts you can find. Im seeing $9 at FishUSA. Still too high IMO.

They are looking at Lucky Craft, Megabass, Jackall and others prices and realize they CAN charge more...

Those baits prices have remained relatively unchanged for years (Lucky Craft actually has some way cheaper baits available now), while Rapala has been steadily jacking their prices up, and not on their new baits, it's across the board.

Steep price, but it's kinda cool looking at least. Almost looks like a thin clipless crankbait.

If you guys want a solid blade bait look up wahoo baits, I buy them at my local fleet farm for $3 each and they come with great hooks. Granted I throw the mostly for river walleye but I know they would be good for bass.

This isn’t new, it goes back years when Lucky Craft was just becoming a thing and Rapala prices went up. I hate it, but can’t say I blame them. This is what happens when folks show they will pay big money for baits like a jackhammer etc.

Don't have one, but have had a  bunch of Silver Buddy blades for many years and they work.  Paul"Buddy" Banks developed the Silver Buddy in 1983.  They have gone up in price, but 15 years ago when I loaded up they were very inexpensive.
