As a fan of the Vixen, I'd like to know what a good alternative to these are. 

RI Vixen is availble. When the Vixen stopped production Paycheck Repo Man filled the void. Now that Vixen is back in production no need for a alternative.

If you are looking for another excellent walking lure LC Wooden Sammy is now available after 20 years of being off the US market.

The Vixens I ordered from TW are still on backorder from BF 2019.  The estimated ship date is now September 2020.

I've got a few original Vixen's and a Repo man.  I've thought about selling them with the prices they are bringing.

They are a good bait but really just another walking bait. I think the Sammy , Spook , Sexy Dog ect.  will probably catch the same fish.

Many of them you see for sale are fakes , especially if they are "custom painted"

Wish I could prove it is available. I ordered one from TW back on 12/2 of last year. The date has now been pushed back like 6 times and currently it says it will not be in stock until sometime in September.
