I'm interested to know if any of you have an opinion on the 40g vs the sling braid. I'm looking for something close to smackdown 40lb.( 285) diameter according to smackdown and hopefully close in smoothness but color fast. (wanting the best hi vis for bottom contact) I love smackdown but 30lb just digs for me. To be honest, fins marketing, unavailability at major stores and apparent lack of diamater truth concerns me.i just don't see many if any reviews on fins that aren't fins marketing. I appreciate any feedback you may have. 

@WRBsuggested fins and I gave it a shot. Windtamer at first, then sling braid. The 50lb sling braid is noticeably different (softer, and probably smaller) than the Sufix 832. I couldn't stand the fading of 832.

I do wish the green on the Sling Braid was darker.

 

I'm curious what you hear on the 40g. And I've been thinking about trying some maxcuatro too.

 

You'd be hard pressed to best Sufix 832

Faded braid will not frighten bass...I promise
