Toughest creature bait??

Featured Replies

I’ve had really good success with the Netbait Paca Craw baits, but the legs break off with almost every bass I catch.  I’ve patched some with a lighter, but I’m running out of legs! Does anyone know of a really tough crawfish/creature bait? Am I doing something wrong with my hook set, etc?

Zoom Z-Hogs have always been durable. I also fish with the Netbait craws and haven't really noticed a durability issue. Maybe you're just catching too many fish ?

The bait still  catches with a leg missing, the Yamamoto creature does.

The Zoom Super Hog is the toughest of the ones I have tried.

Was gonna say anything z man would work. A bait that I like that has been durable for me is a missile baits d bomb. I can usually catch 5 to 7 fish on a Texas rig then cut the tip off thread it on a jig and catch that many as a trailer. That's pretty durable.
