Tatula 60th Anniversary Edition Rod/Reel

Featured Replies

I just pulled the trigger on the 7'3" MH/F rod and 8.1:1 reel.  $125 for the rod, and $139 for the reel.  Does anyone have any experience with these and opinions?

Thanks!

I have no experience with the limited edition but it’s a Tatula 100 reel and a normal Tatula rod with a serial number engraved on it and only 3000 were made of each. I doubt it will become a collectors item worth a lot of money down the road, so I would use them. I have a Tatula 100 reel and it’s a great reel for the money and I love my Tatula rod.

I own a bunch of Tatula rods/reels, thought these looked good.

I purchased the rod from tackletrap and reel from southern reel outfitters.  Tackletrap has code and southern was reduced when added to the cart.

Tatula rods are excellent. Don't have a 100, but other Tatulas are killer.

The red is sharp, and I really like the action on this 7’3.  Unfortunately, the shipping tube was ripped open and bent 45* when it got here. Hoping there was no non-visible damage.

I love mine too.  Tube came in perfect condition from Tackletrap.

I have this rod and reel and it is a great all around combo. I mainly use mine for jigs and T-Rigs....

Wish I could say the same. A guide was bent a little, so I’m hoping that was the extent of the damage.
