Hi everyone, when I first start bass fishing after a few years gap, I was buying everything local tackle shop shove in my basket, One plastic lure(don't know the name), was this tube jig looking plastic, I never fish it and I have no idea how to. Any advice? is it really good as he said or just he wanted to increase the bill? :)

That’s called a Fat Ika from Yamamoto. It’s basically a solid body tube bait. Put a jig head on it, and fishing it along the bottom is just one way to use it.

Or t-rig it tentacles forward weightless and let it swim back under vegetation or brush - really good versatile bait.

It's kind of a cross between a spider jig/tube/Senko and you can fish it a number of ways. Hook it through the skirted side with a jig head as you would a spider grub, dragging it, or hopping it along. Hook it through the other end either Texas rigged  or with a jig head and exposed hook. A little known fact is many pros are using them on their punch rigs, for a more finesse offering, with good success.

Important to note, the Fat Ika is meant to be rigged tentacles forward,

the inverse of a tube lure.

Yes love the Fatika, always catch fish. I mostly rig tentacles first, but latter work too (lift and drop or drag) which I do when the plastic is too damage. I use mostly 4/0 EWG hook.
