3.3-3.8 on a finesse swimbait hook, finesse swim jig or lighter wire weedless- dobyns 733c 40lbs maxcuatro to usually 12lbs mono leader curado dc

4.3-4.8 on a Matt Allen head, regular or nojack swimjig, or owner beast- g loomis imx pro 894 fpr with 50lbs maxcuatro to 17-20lbs mono leader curado dc

5.8, 6.8, or 7.8 on an owner beast or huge swimbait hook is thrown on a g loomis 965 swimbait rod with 80lbs maxcuatro to 25-40lbs sunline fc100 depending on how many toothy critters are around, will step up to 80-100lbs floro if I’m targeting toothy guys, tranx 300 hg

My go to is it was probably something small and only had the tail.

 

Last week in a tournament had something I couldn't stop from running under the boat.  Straightened a ned head out with drag functioning first thing in the morning.  7 hours of it had to be a stripper or channel.

Either of those should work well. I don't own either, but I own a 734. I'd guess that bait would work well on the 733 though. Experiment and see what works for you and report back to us. 

I throw 3.8's on a 1/4oz 3/0 Trokar belly weighted swimbait hook and 4.8's on the 5/0 version. I usually throw them on a 6'6" M/F St. Croix with 12 lb fluoro.

Thanks for the suggestions the Owner Twistlock 4/0 sits in that recessed area of the 3.8" Keitech perfectly. Looking forward to trying it out.

For the 3.8s I use a bitsy flip jighead.

for the 3.8" KSIFs, two light line bobber stops, 1/8 oz tungsten flipping weight, 3/0 light wire twist lock hook by owner.

This is exactly how I want to use keitech, what size hook do you use for swinging football jig? I am thinking to use 3.8 swimbait.

Can't get more weedless than that.

 

Only downside is hook size is limited to 1/0, so you're probably limited to 4" regulars and 3.8" fats tops.

 

Siebert also makes a tungsten EWG ned head with larger hook sizes, but those have exposed line ties.
