I have been fishing all my life, but I really just dabbled in it - I am getting serious about it and want to have a few solid setups for different scenarios/conditions.  I fish smallmouth and largemouth bass in lakes southern Ontario, Canada.

Welcome, looking to make a purchase for some new fishing equipment?   I can suggest that the more information you can give about what kind of baits you want to throw, cover and structure of the lakes you typically fish and most important, what kind of a budget are you working with.  Fishing equipment ranges in price greatly as I am sure you have seen.      Make another post with just a little more information , someone will be able to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Thank you for the reply.  I was going to post some more info in another section of the forum but my internet just crashed as I was doing it.  I will post some more info and look forward to learning from everyone here.
