Hey y’all, my name is Vin, first time - long time. Finally decided to make an account to buy/sell/trade some extra tackle. Also looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to some of threads we’ve got going on. 

 

I’ve been an active freshwater angler for about 4 years now after being re-introduced to freshwater fishing by a buddy of mine who lives up in NH. Freshwater doesn’t get much love on LI, but the bass are better than you would expect. I pulled my PB out of a slimy, algae covered, invasive infested impoundment that would be gladly overlooked by our local googans. 

 

Some of my favorite presentations include:

- Balsa Rapalas, original and jointed in sizes 03 to 11 

- Burning a Pit Boss on top of submerged vegetation

- PB&J Big TRD rigged on a weedless jig head
