Hello everyone!  My youngest son dragged me back into fishing again after a 23-year hiatus...I've very thankful he showed some interest and we have been going out 2-3 times a week now for the past 3 months.  I grew up fishing trout streams locally; Penns Creek, Elk Creek, Pine Creek, Sinking Creek, etc. but never really spent much time at any ponds or lakes.  I started Nick out at Colyer Lake, about 10 minutes from our house.  It's a 77 acre lake that was just refurbished by the state a few years ago and got him on to catching bluegills there.  I did a little research and rigged him up a wacky worm and in about 10 minutes he hooked and landed his fist bass.  So, needless to say...the bass wasn't the only thing hooked that day!  I'm looking forward to continued outings with him and both of us learning to be better fishermen.
