No,  all of my tackle is either in the boat or in the basement.   I can locate any specific item in the basement in six months or less.

  • I misplaced a PopMax in a tree on Mousam Lake due to a slightly aggressive cast.

  • Two trucks, three boats, four tackle bags, and five 5' shelves full of 3700's. I've always got tackle missing and I blame the Bait Monkey.

How much does he have you beat by detroit1? When I first saw that vid of Eric I figured he had bought a tackle shop property and just kept the tackle but as it turns out I think his collection is just a fisherman grabbing lures weekly the same as us. He says it is 40-45 years of lure buying.

Probabally 500 or so hard baits (mostly retired), but very few new in box. Only around 100 make it to the boat nowadays, and even out of those, only 20 or so get some love. My guess is i have about 1/1000 of his stuff...?

Still a nice collection of lures! What is your favorite or neatest lure you have? Mine would be a Heddon Pumpkinseed, if I dated it right it was available during  '59-'63 and I found it mixed in lures at a yard sale and priced $10
