Pretty simple really. Tie on a 1/0 or 2/0 worm hook. Straight shank or off set it doesn’t matter. Than just pinch on the split shot 8”,10”,12” or 16” whatever above hook.  Size 4,5,7 shot. Round, clam shape you get the idea. 

Lol so today i tried a senko, lizard, trick worm, and ribbon worm for roughly 3-4 hours swimming it, hopping it and dragging it and i got only one bite and i reeled him in and right when he got to the bank and i was about to flip him he got off the hook and i watched as he swam away ?
