The only game being televised here at noon is Texas vs Oklahoma. Other than a handful of transplants,

NOBODY in this region gives a hoot.  This is SEC country.

 

 

SEC is power conference consistently eating up the top 10.......my choice on a Saturday afternoon as well.

Best part of Mizzou/LSU? It was an SEC game without Gary Danielson.  

OU v Texas is a classic rivalry, but unfortunately they're both mediocre this year. If nothing else at least it was a very entertaining ending!

 

That said, I am thoroughly enjoying Ole Miss being up 14-7 over Alabama right now. Be pretty crazy having Alabama, LSU, and Florida all lose on the same weekend.

That TU OU game was butt ugly.

Looks like Bama is the only team in the SEC that has a chance to keep the championship trophy in the SEC this season.

Bama will get a good test this Saturday night with Georgia coming to Tuscaloosa ... I believe defense still wins championships and Bama has some work to do there ... Saban is shrewd and will teak it ... 

 

Some folks are coming down on coach O and the team ... give me a break ... LSU lost a ton of starters from last year's championship team .... and what a team .... believe LSU might still win 7 and lose 3 ... but more likely 6 wins and 4 losses .... coach O will get it done ...
