I was introduced to bass fishing by my grandfather who died in 1977. He swore a 6" Creme Scoundrel in purple was the finest bass lure ever produced.

I usually buy the plain unsigned Creme worms. Purple is my favourite color.

Un rigged I meant to say

Early 70's was my first use of a plastic worm. Kelley's Plow Jockeys - a thin dia. worm prerigged with 3 small hooks and about  6"line tied with a loop,no beads or props. Grape outfished their other colors they had. 6# trilene (dad had a mitchell 300, i had a true temper (can't remember the name) it was an open faced spinning reel built into the rod. Kelleys are still available  (Jann's)  Great lure and easy to fish for beginners. Don't forget to use a Sampo snap/swivel...
