Reel painting

Featured Replies

Who does reel painting? Not looking for anything fancy, just cover up boat rash. If you want to make comments about how I spend my money, don’t please.

There’s a select few that do impeccable work but it is expensive to say the least and not worth it unless you want something custom. Its cheaper to just purchase a new frame or side plate if available. Frame pieces arent terribly expensive relative to what a paint costs. If you really want a paint, look up rembrandtreels on instagram and go from there. His work is incredible but its expensive

I agree with above.  If you don’t want anything custom then it’s cheaper to get a new frame or side plate.   That’s what I did to a few reels.

Quick search and you are right, not worth getting it painted.

Boat rash - long as it doesn't affect the performance - shows that it's a reel that's been used...which is how it should be.

I'll agree to disagree with that statement.

Man sometimes you just want the reel to be mint, if any of my scorpion mgl k reels got scratched, id probably cry for a few hours.
