ain't like Seaguar is new to the market.

I was banking on Seaguar fluoro 20 years ago.

All about knot strength - especially 20 years ago, when all other fluoro had such bad knot strength.

(yes, disposable Film camera)

  • Vanish is the worst.   Period.

  • I’ve tried Sniper, Shooter and InvisX.  Now I only use Sniper and Shooter exclusively.          Mike

  • Shooter has more abrasion resistance.  I use it for heavier bottom contact presentations and some punching.  It’s larger diameter especially on a rod with micro guides gives me the greatest amo

They're actually the OLDEST.  They were the first.  They're still the only one to run their own formulas and extrusions.

PS, never leave a knot tied over night and re tie if you feel or see any damage.

Been known to re tie after 1 cast if the line doesn’t look right, usually about every hour as a habit. Too late after you hook a big bass.

Do you just do this for fluorocarbon, or for all types of line?

I don't know about Tom, but I don't even let braid sit tied more than a day...so all line types.

I check my line and knot integrity constantly. If I get hung up and have to somewhat struggle to get free I’ll re tie.

I also re tie before every outing even if I plan to use the same lure on the same rod.
