What do you guys use to polish spinnerbaits? WD-40? Vinegar?  

Toothpaste works pretty good

Most toothpaste (not the gel types) have a small amount of silica in them - think of it as micro-sand particles. A soft cloth, a bit of toothpaste, and you polish the metal.

Its like a pumice, put a little bit on the blade and scrub it with a toothbrush.  Its good for getting rust stains off hard baits too.  

you can also soak in jewelry cleaner. just don't tell the wife....lol

probably best to pick up your own jar

Thats a good point, usually its the white toothpaste.

Car polish and or wax

To get the shine back I use jewelry wipes.

   I use toothpaste to clean metal lures, and I use it to clean the guides on my rods after about a month of the Muddy Mississippi. I use any that has baking soda in it. Mind you, I don't go King-Kong-crazy with it though.       jj
