a waste of money?  Looking to treat myself to a couple new rods if all goes well with my brain tumor operation today as a treat for myself and to use some of my stimulus money to stimulate the economy. 

 

Also hoping to get my wife's Medicare application finished and approved (has Alzheimer's and Lewy bodies dementia) so she is covered for living in a nursing home the rest of her life.  Once all that is done I hope to semi-retire and move to Florida where shes has relatives to visit her.  Plus I will get to see her more than once a week,  Something I can't do now because of the current conditions here in PA and the fact I work full time.

 

Two other rods I am interested in will definitely work great in Florida.  Falcon Head Turner and Amistad.  Almost positive these two will be a sure bet even though I will have to pay full price.  Something I hate doing.

That's what I heard. Thanks guys.  Tumor operation successful.  Coordination not so good, but expect it to be back to normal in a reasonable amount of time.  Won't know for a week or two if it was malignant.

 

Like my Falcons and looking forward to a couple more.  Right now I am considering the Head Tuner in the Expert and the Amiatsd in the Lowrider.

 

Got a nice Income Tax Return and am actually considering the idea of an extra rod or two above and beyond the Falcons.  Have about 10 more reels than rods.  The Phenix 7'2" MHF new M1 is one.  Still built to be tough, but with better sensitivity than the original.  I need say no more if you've read TackleTour's review.

 

Looking at the Kage 7'1" MXF.

 

Never spent $200 or more on a rod, but the Expride is said to fish more like a $400 rod.  May have to Make an exception. 7'2" MHF.

Any use for a MLF spinning rod?  Doesn't have to be strictly for bass.  The rod I am looking at is the Tatula 7'1".  Doesn't need to be for drop shot.  That is what the guy was going to use it for that started the thread I was reading.  Sounded like an extremely sensitive rod for the money.

 

If it swims, I usually enjoy catching it.  How about for crappies?  I've always thought of crappy as a Northern fish, but the biggest I've ever caught or seen was taken at a lake behind my B-I-L's home in DeLand.

Dwight is spot on here, however, I have experimented and caught a few 5lbers in about a foot of water with a 6" drop shot here in Tampa, Fl. Might have been luck, idk.
