Fishing Tennessee

Featured Replies

Hey yall! Just wanted to share some pics and exchange story's.

Just got back from a trip to Tennessee, went there for a graduation trip from college. Fished a river called the little pigeon river, awesome fishing and caught some new species of fish we don't really have down here in Texas, at least the part I live in. Also went hiking in the Smokey Mountains, which was great. Anyone have some good fishing stories from Tennessee? Didn't catch anything huge, but it sure was a lot of fun.

The pigeon is a fun float! Nice pics

Very beautiful river, sad it's the only one I got to enjoy in Tennessee. I see you're from knoxville, seemed like a awesome town driving through.

Yea it’s fun! The pigeon river has been polluted by a paper mill in canton North Carolina for about a century now. It’s finally healthy now for the first time in a long time and guess what........ the paper mill is looking to amp up production and most likely amp up pollution.

Many have drawn a connection between the poor economic conditions in Newport and the direct water pollution coming from NC
